Do you struggle with sticking to your New Year’s resolutions? Goal setting is a great idea, but it should be done at the right time and for the right reasons. If your new yearly goals go by the wayside after a few weeks or months, try adopting a theme! One employee recently shared with me that she adopts a theme that guides her throughout the year. The theme she recently adopted was “Always be REAL.” Aside from the message of being authentic, REAL is an acronym for Root Every Action in Love. If you start from a place of love, you will always be compassionate and therefore successful!

If you choose a theme, let me know how it goes. If you do choose resolutions, the experts say to keep them short, realistic, meaningful and focus on one or two goals instead of a top-10 list.
